The City of Guelph and the County of Wellington initiated the Guelph and Wellington Transportation Study, in 2004, to assess transportation needs in the Guelph-Wellington area and identify specific transportation system improvements for implementation during the planning period from 2001 to 2021. The final report and recommendations are now ready for public review and comment. The study conclusions and recommendations address the following:
- Existing Travel Patterns in the Study Area
- Future Planning Context and Needs Assessment
- Transportation Demand Management: TDM, Land Use, and Walking & Cycling
- Public Transit
- City of Guelph Roadways
- Wellington Road 124 and other County Roadways
- Provincial Highways
- Transportation Master Plan
A public meeting to present the study conclusions and recommendations will be held:
